A little about us...

Old Hickory Presbyterian Church is a growing congregation of folk excited about the presence of Jesus Christ in their lives. Together we are striving to becoming stronger disciples of our Lord, and encouraging others to join us. That means, of course, that as Christians a few of us are lifelong Presbyterians; many others are brand new to the Christian faith.

Our congregation is neither "young" nor "old,” neither “urban” nor “suburban” nor even “rural;” but welcome all who worship. From geriatrics to the just born, we are all ages.

Old Hickory Presbyterian is located deep in the residential section of Historic Old Hickory Village where the bold look of our natural stone building matches the bold faith of the people who worship here.

In worship the diversity of the spiritual paths that brought us to this church is reflected in a variety of expressions of faith from a traditional choir and organ to the contemporary songs of the congregation.

We are a mission church. We are here to praise the Lord, to spread the good news of his gospel to all we meet, and to care for the lost, the homeless, the sick. We joyfully extend the right hand of fellowship to all with whom we come into contact.
